TFMC assists with improvements to Alma school in Pretoria.

csi_almaIn keeping with its ongoing policy of giving back to the community, TFMC, Africa's  largest Facilities Management company, recently paid for renovations and bought essential items for Alma School in Pretoria.

The school provides special education for cerebral palsied, mentally- and physically-impaired children of all races, between the ages of three and twenty-one. The school, based in Gezina, Pretoria, accommodates approximately 215 learners.

TFMC opened their hearts and renovated the boys's  and girls's cloakrooms, installed air conditioners in some of the classrooms and offices, donated a TV/video machine, vacuum cleaners, towels, face cloths for each child, and a fridge.

The school held a thanksgiving ceremony for TFMC, where the learners and teachers assembled at the school hall, and entertained the guests with musical items.

For its selfless contribution to the school, TFMC was awarded with a special certificate.

At TFMC we strongly believe in giving back to the communities in which we operate. The children were delighted with their new facilities and the warm smiles we received confirmed that our project was a success, says Maud Poopedi, head of Corporate Social Initiatives at TFMC.
